Transforming teaching and learning through the use of technology.

Northern Ireland Schools ICT Excellence Awards

The Capita and C2k NI Schools ICT Excellence Awards celebrate the innovative and collaborative use of technology in schools across Northern Ireland and the positive impact on students and their wider community. Schools, education establishments and education services within the C2k environment are asked to apply for a “Transforming teaching and learning through technology” award or reintroduced for 2019 an "Overcoming barriers to learning by empowerment through technology" award.

Now in its fifth year, the awards address how the innovative use of technology has transformed teaching and learning and how it has improved educational outcomes for students and staff. The reintroduction of the second award category explores how education establishments have overcame barriers experienced by young people whose particular circumstances make it difficult for them to access learning in other ways.
