At Capita Managed IT Solutions we work with education establishments across the UK and Ireland delivering flexible IT support services to meet their unique needs, from service desk to field engineer support. Capita’s CustomFit service provides desktop and server support, hardware and software break-fix and IMACD (installations, moves, adds, change and disposals) utilising both remote, field-based and on-site engineers. The engineering teams are supported centrally by a UK based ITIL service desk, service management, and resource scheduling teams, all of which are underpinned by leading service management systems. With Capita CustomFit, you retain control of your IT, we simply bring the back-up, assistance and expertise when you need us to.

Capita Managed IT Solutions has a dedicated resource scheduling team who plan and schedule on-site engineer visits, technical projects, hardware exchanges, warranty support and WEEE disposal planning and management.

On Site Engineer Service

Our flexible IT support services includes on-site engineers for an annual agreed number of days, to be used as and when required. The engineer days can be booked per year with the flexibility to provide desktop and server support, desk-side resolution, warranty and non-warranty hardware support, preventative maintenance, equipment testing, patching and security. Our on-site engineer service can support your existing IT teams with training, advice, guidance and support during IT projects. This is supported by a telephone and email technical helpdesk, with an agreed number of calls per year.

Includes device replacement services and desk side support for PCs, laptops, printers and hardware. Services include hardware exchanges, warranty and non-warranty hardware support, loan service, backup and restore, image and builds and preventative maintenance in addition to WEEE disposal, patching/security, end user training and consultancy.
